NZ busiest Lonestar requires a talented events manager to join the team.

Lone Star Dunedin is a busy inner city located restaurant serving a la carte dining as well as a busy bar and function centre and is a well established NZ brand with 16 sites around NZ.

In this role, you will be meeting and greeting guests as well as organizing and co ordinating specific function requirements. The role will have you liaising with kitchen and front of house to ensure events run smoothly and at a very high level of professionalism. A key part of this role will be the follow up of your guests experience to ensure repeat custom. You need to be a great organizer as well as having great communication skills. The ability to juggle lots of work at the same time is a must. Attention to detail and the ability to pull it all together is really important as well.

A big part of this role requires that you charm the socks off all your customers. You must be bright and bubbly, and be at ease striking up conversation. The ability to breath the lone star vibe which is laid back, hearty and enthusiastic is a must. You will be well dressed and most importantly you will have the x factor!

Your background will have been in a similar role or have come from a waiting or bar background where guest interaction is high. You will know how to read a room and see problems before they eventuate.

A relevant duty manager’s certificate or someone who has had one in the past is highly desirable. If you have your LCQ and fit the approve brief I want to hear from you as well. You will have fluent English and understand Kiwi culture.

This role has the ability to progress with an emphasis on functions and management operations for the right person!

This is a full time and permanent role. Pay is dependent on experience and as such a generous salary package is on offer. Pay up to and over $25.50 is on offer.
