We are looking for a Chef de Partie with at least 3 years experience, you will need to have all the basics down pat and have a good knowledge of making sauces and stocks from scratch. It would be beneficial if you have had experience cooking meats and using fresh ingredients / managing your own garden.
Most importantly we want the right personality fit, we have a young and energetic team and we are looking for someone who can bring the same energy and passion to this role as the rest of the team. This is a family vibe and you will be working with owners who like to look after their staff and make sure that they are treated really well. We need someone who is wanting to learn and develop and take the next step, because working at this place you will need to be on your A game.

The kitchen is open 5 days a week (8am-6pm, you will need to be available to work weekends. Summer is the busiest time of year but this is a full time and permanent position. Salary is approx $45k with an allowance for travel if you are coming from Christchurch. This restaurant is approx 45mins from Christchurch. You will need your own transport.
